Nothing Good Comes Easy

Experience had taught many of us what it takes to reach the mountain of goodness. Reminiscing about my final days in tertiary institution, days and nights were almost not enough to get the best done project in my department. I toiled from morning till night and till daybreak for the sake of academic excellence. It was not a joke. Books — really got me crazy.

You’re going nowhere

Funnily enough, I had many opposing forces — ranging from my interlocutor (the philosophy I wrote about his idea), some friends who mocked me, reading original texts, getting acquainted with very few German words, a good number of texts that described how difficult my interlocutor was, the tension of meeting up with deadlines to many others.

No Pain, No Gain

It was indeed not a joke. The popular aphorism — nothing good comes easily made a lot of sense to me at that time. Once engrossed in the pain of writing my project, I perpetually instruct my mind that there is no gain without pain; no good without uneasiness.

The Mind-Game Worked

After a year as a graduate, I now write as one who had executed many projects and continues to because even life itself is an impossible project — many will not finish before death beckons. But more importantly, my mental game indeed worked. After some time, my consciousness became used to the uneasy good.

Presently, I write every day and aim at getting not less than a million views and followers. Perhaps not only on medium alone but in all my websites and blogs, that ancient ever new screams the louder at my face.

Nothing Good Comes Easy! Even if I don’t get there in a decade — nothing stops me from trying harder.

Never Ever give Up

Reaching goodness isn’t easy, period. No one is going to motivate you except “You.” To all my followers, viewers and readers, never give up on the long journey to goodness.

Though in the end, the good does not becomes easy but a worthwhile possibility. In fact, could be a stepping stone to the better and the best. So, at some point, giving up will be a sin — a grave one.

Ayodeji Awosika Thanks for your Encouragement this far.

Who does not like good things or better things or the best of all things? I am still searching for such individuals — I haven’t seen them yet.
